Twenty-eight LED lights sit along the ribs with a twenty-ninth at the center hub, and the solar panel that feeds them runs 6 to 8 hours on a full day's charge. The canopy spans 10 ft and clears 6.4 ft at the rim, high enough to walk under, on a cantilever arm that turns a full circle with a foot pedal so the shade follows the sun. A 40 x 40 in cross base anchors the 40-lb frame in aluminum and metal; fill it with sand or weights before use. Brown polyester keeps the light under it warm rather than tinted.
