PTC ceramic elements bring heat up fast and do it exceptionally quietly, which matters when the heater is running in offices, bedrooms and living rooms rather than somewhere the noise would go unnoticed. Three modes cover the range: high at 1500 watts, low at 1000 watts, and an ECO setting that holds a constant 68 degrees Fahrenheit instead of running at full power. The control panel sets any temperature from 50 to 90 degrees Fahrenheit, and the same settings are reachable from the included remote without getting up. An LED display screen shows the heater data clearly, and a timer runs from 1 to 12 hours so the unit shuts itself down rather than being left on. Oscillation widens the warm zone rather than pointing all the output at one chair. Safety is covered three ways, by overheat protection, tip-over protection and a child lock.
