Vertical black metal slats run along the sides of this 43.5-inch rustic brown coffee table, giving the industrial frame a lined look. The engineered wood top, 43.5 x 23.5 inches, is rated for 110 lbs, and the open lower shelf carries 66 lbs, for a combined 176 lbs of books, baskets and a laptop. The shelf sits 5.5 inches off the floor with 10 to 15 inches of space above it, enough for a storage bin or stacked magazines. Adjustable foot pads level the 18-inch-tall table on uneven boards, and its 36.5-lb weight keeps it from sliding on a rug. The wood-grain top pairs with a leather sofa or a loft-style room. Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Assembly is required; the package includes the coffee table and a user manual.
