Folding flat to 3 inches, this 24 by 17 by 17 inch soft crate sets up or collapses in about 30 seconds on a retractable spring metal frame with no tools involved, which is the difference between taking a dog along and leaving it home. Rugged 600D Oxford cloth covers the frame with reinforced corners, and mesh windows on multiple sides keep air moving while letting a dog see the room. Three doors, including an 18 by 12 inch side entry, mean the crate can be positioned against a wall or in a car footwell and still open from a usable direction. A 23 by 16 inch mat lines the floor with a faux fur surface and lifts out for washing after a muddy trip. The crate weighs 6.5 lbs and holds dogs up to 24 lbs. The crate measures 24 by 17 by 17 inches set up and folds to 24 by 17 by 3 inches. Mesh panels sit on the sides and the top for cross ventilation. A carry handle is built into the shell for moving the crate with a dog inside.
