Two wheels sit at one end of this gray lounger, and they change how it gets used. Instead of lifting 26.3 lb and shuffling sideways, the chair tilts onto the wheels and rolls, which means it actually follows the sun across an afternoon rather than staying wherever it was first put down. The backrest sets at five positions and it is a genuinely high back, so the head and shoulders are supported when it is raised for reading, and the whole thing drops flat for a nap. Armrests run along both sides at a height that suits lying back rather than sitting up at a table. Construction is sturdy one-piece PP rated to carry 330 lb, with no fabric to sag, no frame to rust and no annual sealing to remember; a rinse is the whole maintenance routine. Opened out the lounger reaches 73.5-in, long enough for a full-length adult, and the chair measures 30-in by 29-in by 41-in in its upright form. Folded it comes down to 30-in by 12.5-in by 38.5-in, thin enough to stand against a wall or slide into a shed when the weather turns, which is worth more than it sounds for something this size. At 22-in across, the bed is wide enough that shoulders are not pinched, and because the surface is solid plastic rather than sling fabric there is nothing to stretch, sag or split along a seam after a few seasons of use. It is a natural fit for a garden, patio, backyard or poolside, and assembly is quick.
