A basketball goal system adjusting from 7.4 to 10 ft measured floor to rim, which puts the top of its range at regulation height and the bottom within reach of a younger player. Total height runs from 9.4 to 12 ft, so allow for that clearance under a tree or a low overhang. Height changes run through a built-in crank rather than pins or clamps, so no tools are needed and the pole can be raised mid-session without dismantling anything. The backboard is transparent shatter resistant PC measuring 44 by 29.5 inches, a genuinely large board for a portable system, and it is reinforced behind by an H-shaped back frame with Y-shaped connections that spread rebound shock across the whole panel rather than into the bracket bolts. Protective corners finish the edges. Below, a fillable base braced with triangular beams supports the post and accepts 110 lbs of ballast, and the included weight bag holds the same 110 lbs while doubling as a carrying bag. The base measures 35 by 23.5 by 5.5 inches and the whole system weighs 48.5 lbs on the scale. The 18 inch rim ships with a net, and a second net is supplied to replace the original when it wears through. Assembly is required, and it works indoors or outdoors on a court, driveway or yard.
