Three lidded bins drop into the tabletop and lift straight back out, which is what turns one frame into a picnic table, a sand table, a water table, or a storage table depending on the afternoon. Snap the lids on and the 28-in surface goes flat again for lunch. The 59-in umbrella slides from 45-in to 70-in on its pole, folds down, and its pointed tip pushes into lawn soil when the shade needs to move off the table. Fir wood in water-based paint carries 220 lb on the table and on each bench.
