A transparent space capsule set into the middle of this 40-inch tower gives a cat a covered berth with a full view out, which is a different proposition from a fabric condo. The capsule measures 12 inches across. Above it, a 13 by 4 inch top perch carries a removable plush cushion with PP cotton padding that goes in the washing machine. Scratching gets three surfaces: sisal-wrapped posts, a 7-inch rotating ball, and a 19 by 7.5 inch two-sided pad with sisal on one face and felt on the other. Each layer holds 33 lbs. Solid rubber wood with smooth rounded corners keeps the frame light at 20 lbs, while an anti-toppling strap ties it to the wall. The 18.5 by 18.5 inch base fits a corner. Color: Natural; Material: Rubber Wood, Polyester Fleece, PP Cotton, PET, Sisal, Jute and Felt; Overall Dimensions: 23.5 in W x 21 in D x 40 in H; Base Dimensions: 18.5 in x 18.5 in; Top Perch: 13 in x 4 in; Scratching Board: 19 in x 7.5 in; Space Capsule Diameter: 12 in; Scratching Ball Diameter: 7 in; Capacity Per Layer: 33 lbs; Net Weight: 20 lbs; Assembly Required: Yes
