Two HDPE bar stools stand up to sun, rain and pool splash without the annual sanding a wood stool asks for, and soapy water on a cloth is the whole maintenance routine. The 30-in seat matches a bar table measuring 43.5 to 47 in, and the high back leans at 106 degrees over armrests and a wide footrest so a long evening does not turn into a fidget. Slats across the seat let rain drain and air move on a hot afternoon. Colorfast HDPE holds its shade, 304 stainless screws hold the joints, and each stool carries 360 lbs of seated weight.
