A 77-in desk runs the full length under this loft bed, with 56.5-in of headroom above the chair, so a dorm room or small bedroom gains a study station without giving up floor area. Two floating shelves rated 50-lb each mount within reach of that desk, and the desktop itself carries 90-lb of monitor and books. Fourteen plywood slats support a twin mattress up to 6-in thick at 250-lb, and two anti-tip kits anchor the pine frame to the wall.
